soft Til Gul Ladoo

Food Story :  These soft Til Ladoos are prepared during Sankrant festival, which falls on January 14.  It is good to eat Til during winters.

Ingredients :

  1. Sesame Seeds /Til 500 gms.
  2. Jaggery 350 gms.
  3. Dry Coconut 100 gms.
  4. Cardamom Powder 1 tsp.

Method :

  1. Grate the jaggery.
  2. Grate the Dry Coconut.
  3. Dry roast the Sesame Seeds till golden in colour.
  4. Dry roast the dry coconut.
  5. Coarse grind the roasted Sesame Seeds in a Mixer.
  6. Coarse grind the roasted dry coconut till golden brown.
  7. Mix the Sesame seeds and dry coconut.
  8. Add grated jaggery and cardamom powder and mix well.
  9. Form round Ladoos with your hands.
  10. If you find it a little difficult to form ladoos, then blend all the ingredients together in a Mixer again.
